Duck Trucks
Effective 2 September 2026. Applies to every version of the app.
Data collection is just weird.
Duck Trucks collects nothing. No accounts, no ads, no purchases, no tracking, and no internet needed. Everything stays on the device.
That paragraph is the whole policy. The rest of this page says the same thing in detail.
Nothing. Duck Trucks doesn't collect, store, send or share any personal information, from kids or from adults. It never asks for a name, an email address, a birthday, a photo, a location, a contact list, a microphone or a camera. There are no accounts and no sign-in.
Nothing. The app makes no network connections of any kind. No analytics, no crash reporting service, no advertising, no advertising identifier, and no third-party software that phones home. It works entirely offline, and it works exactly the same in airplane mode.
The game saves your kid's progress on the device it's played on: the state of the pond, the trucks, the animal friends, the days played, the cosmetics they've earned, and the settings a grown-up has chosen (volume, day length, the sunset chime). That's ordinary app data. It never leaves the device except through Apple's own device backups, which you control in your Apple account settings and which I can't see. Deleting the app deletes it. The grown-ups corner inside the game also has an erase button that wipes the whole save.
Duck Trucks is made for kids 2 to 8 and is published in the Kids category of the App Store. It complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States, the children's provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in Europe, and Apple's Kids Category guidelines, in the simplest way there is: by collecting nothing from anyone. The settings, the privacy statement and the erase button sit behind a parental gate (a hold and a simple sum). There are no links out of the app, not even to this page.
The app is bought once, through the App Store, for a single price. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions, and there never will be. Apple handles the purchase. I never see your payment details, and Apple's own privacy policy covers that transaction.
There's no advertising in Duck Trucks, from me or from anyone else, and no advertising identifiers are read or created.
No third party gets any data from Duck Trucks, because the app produces none and sends none. The game is built with the Unity engine. I don't enable Unity's analytics or any other online service it offers, and the app contains no advertising, analytics or social networking components.
The rights privacy laws give you over your data, like access, correction and deletion, apply to data a company holds about you. I hold none. Everything Duck Trucks knows is on your device, under your control, and you can erase it any time from the grown-ups corner or by deleting the app.
If a future version of Duck Trucks ever changed any of the above, I'd change this page first, move the effective date at the top, and say what changed and why in plain language.
