The private beta of Duck Trucks is a greybox of the whole first chapter, before the art. The trucks and icons are roughly shaped toward the final look; everything still needs a full art pass. The music is real, nearly every other sound is a placeholder.
Please judge the gameplay and whether a child understands what to do, not the looks or the sounds.
What we want to hear
Understanding. Could your child tell what to do without you? Where did they get stuck? Younger kids (2 to 5) may just play in the sandbox; older kids may want to complete the objectives. Helping the little ones along is fine. For adults it is meant to be a chill, cozy wind-down game.
Fun. What made them smile? What did they go back to? What bored or annoyed them?
The trucks. Did driving, scooping, dumping and parking feel good?
Pacing. Did a day feel too long, too short, or right?
Sound. Anything too loud, too quiet, or irritating?
Bugs. What happened and what you were doing.
Please include the child's age with every note.
Skipping ahead
The pond sleeps until tomorrow after each day. To keep testing, hold the little sun in the top-right corner for two seconds, then tap Next day. Jump to sunset shows the wind-down. This menu is for the beta only.
